Pictures From the Shaw Center Roof

Here are a few pictures I took last night from the roof of the Shaw Center. I put a link for the Center over in my links section. It is fast becoming my favorite place in BR to hang out. If you look really close behind the pictures of the old state capital you can see Tiger Stadium and my old dorm, good ole Kirby-Smith.

Hey the pics are great! Still can't believe thats Baton Rouge though. You could actually mistake it for a city. What I really want to know is how on Earth did you get roof access to a building that new?

Bright lights do not make a city my friend. We all know what the Big Raggidy looks like in the daytime. Damn I sure miss the place.

dointhemedance, until i get my profile fixed i'll reply this way:

On the sixth floor there is a sushi restaurant, Tsunami. There is a open-air terrace where you can sit outside and eat/drink/enjoy the view. Technically I don’t think it is part of the restaurant, but they will serve you outside. On the weekends they have a bar outside and also bring in a DJ to play some music in the background. It’s a pretty swank place for BR, it also draws an extremely diverse crowd, something also different for BR. Next time you roll back through, you should check it out.

Yeah, I do agree, that BR is one of the most stagnant cities in America, but I still love that place. Mmmm. . . sushi. We should definitely give it a whirl when I get back(when I get back being the key phrase).
